As you may know, part of the £3000 needed to take part in the Charity Challenge goes towards covering the cost of my trip. YOUR DONATIONS WILL NOT! Everything that is donated directly on to this site will remain with the Charity, and the rest of the money will come from my other fundraising activities.
I chose to support Cambodia’s children because I wanted to give something (however small) to one of the countries that I will be visiting. It is clear to me that the children who live on the Stung Mean Chey dump are in desperate need of help. Their lives are threatened on a daily basis by disease, starvation and violence. The Centre for Children’s Happiness, supported by this charity, provides a lifeline for these children and a chance to gain an education – their best hope for a better life.
Cambodia’s Children is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers. I also wanted to support a Charity where I knew that my contribution would not be swallowed up in red tape. Here every pound donated makes a very real difference.
If you would like to sponsor me, please click on the donate icon below and choose to support my bike ride from the drop-down menu. This is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Cambodia’s Children will receive your money straight away and, if you are a UK tax payer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
So please sponsor me now while you are here! The sooner you donate, the sooner the charity will be able to put the money to good use.
Many thanks for your support.
